Raw Instinct Pheromone Cologne Review: Formula, Cost & Claims

Raw Instinct is a scented pheromone oil sold as a 10 mL (0.34 oz) men’s cologne under the Pure Primal name. Its retailer describes a fresh, woody fragrance and claims a blend of four pheromones, but it does not identify the four compounds or their concentrations. We found no controlled study of the finished product showing that it increases attraction. For a more clearly explained everyday spray, Nexus remains our overall pick in the men’s pheromone buyer’s guide.

How we reviewed it: We checked the GoSupps product listing, its published shipping and refund policy, and peer-reviewed work on proposed human pheromones. This is a research-based review. We have not bought or worn Raw Instinct, inspected its label, analyzed the oil, or measured scent longevity or attraction outcomes.

Raw Instinct: buyer’s snapshot
Bottle format and size — 10 mL oil listed by the retailer
Fragrance description — fresh and woody, according to the listing
Pheromone formula — four claimed; identities and amounts undisclosed
Returns and availability — assurance claim needs written clarification
Editorial summary
Raw Instinct may appeal to someone who wants a compact scented oil, but the formula is opaque and the retailer’s guarantee language is unclear. These bars show how clearly shopping details are published; they are not effectiveness or wear-test scores.

Our verdict

Best for: Someone who likes the idea of a small, fresh-and-woody fragrance oil and is comfortable buying on scent preference alone. We would not buy Raw Instinct for a promised attraction effect. The seller leaves out the names and doses of the claimed pheromones, and the return terms for dissatisfaction need clarification before purchase.

  • What we like: The retailer gives the bottle size and describes the scent and oil format.
  • What to weigh: The four claimed pheromones are not identified; there is no verified finished-product attraction trial or independent wear test; the $19.99 shipping charge affects value; and the product listing’s 365-day language is not spelled out in the retailer’s refund policy.

Formula: what is actually disclosed?

GoSupps says Raw Instinct contains a combination of four pheromones. It does not name the molecules, list how much of each is in a bottle, or provide a full ingredient panel on the listing we examined. The previous version of this review suggested androstenone and androstenol were in this product. We could not verify either ingredient for this particular formula, so those claims have been removed.

The seller also calls the ingredients “chemical-free.” That phrase is marketing language, not a useful ingredient or safety specification: a fragrance oil is made of chemical substances. If you have fragrance sensitivities, ask the retailer or maker for the current label and ingredients before applying it to skin. “Four pheromones” alone does not establish quality, safety, or effect.

Can Raw Instinct increase attraction?

The product page says the blend can make a wearer more memorable and attractive. Those are seller claims. A review of proposed human sex pheromones found that familiar candidate compounds had not been robustly established as human sex pheromones. That paper did not examine Raw Instinct, whose claimed compounds are not disclosed. We found no controlled study of the finished oil showing that it changes other people’s attraction or behavior.

A fragrance someone enjoys may affect how they feel while wearing it, but that is different from demonstrating a pheromone-specific response. Testimonials and confident language on a sales page cannot settle the question.

Scent, use, and wear time

The retailer calls the scent fresh and woody and describes this product as a perfume oil rather than a conventional spray. We have not smelled or worn it, so we cannot judge its fragrance, projection, skin feel, or how long it lasts. The old review’s spicy-woody description and 6–8 hour wear estimate were not supported by a product test and have been removed.

If you buy it, follow the instructions on the bottle, try a small amount on skin first, and avoid contact with eyes or irritated areas. Do not assume that applying more oil produces more attraction. This is a scented product, so its aroma also needs to work for you as a fragrance.

Price, shipping, availability, and returns

The GoSupps listing displayed a $54.99 sale price for 10 mL and advertised a $19.99 flat shipping fee when checked. That would be $74.98 before any other applicable charges if those figures remain the same. The page simultaneously displayed “in stock” and an alternatives message saying it could not provide the item; confirm availability and the actual checkout total before ordering. The previous review box’s $49.99 price was outdated.

The product description advertises a 365-day purchase assurance, while the retailer’s published refund policy describes damaged-product claims within 30 days of ordering and customs-related refunds, without explaining an opened-fragrance satisfaction return. Ask for written confirmation of who honors the 365-day claim, what condition the bottle must be in, and whether shipping is refundable. We would not treat the product-page sentence alone as a clear return guarantee.

Raw Instinct vs. Nexus

Raw Instinct is a 10 mL scented oil whose retailer does not disclose the claimed four pheromones. Nexus is a ready-to-use lightly scented spray with more product information available for a buyer to evaluate. We favor Nexus as the more straightforward overall option. We have not compared the two in a wear test, and no head-to-head study establishes that either causes attraction.

Frequently asked questions

Is Raw Instinct the same as Raw by RawChemistry or Pure Instinct?

No. This review concerns the Pure Primal Raw Instinct 10 mL oil listed at GoSupps. Similar names belong to other fragrances and should not be used as evidence for this formula.

Which pheromones are in Raw Instinct?

The retailer says there are four but does not identify them or state their amounts. We cannot verify that androstenone or androstenol is included.

How long does the fragrance last?

We have not worn it or found reliable product-specific testing that establishes a wear time. The previous 6–8 hour estimate was unsupported.

Does it make women more attracted to the wearer?

We found no controlled study of the finished product establishing that outcome. Its fragrance may be judged on its scent, but the attraction claim remains unproven.

Is there a 365-day money-back guarantee?

The product listing uses 365-day assurance language. GoSupps’ general refund policy does not spell out an opened-product satisfaction return, so obtain written terms before relying on it.

Editorial note: Product listing and retailer policy checked October 3, 2026. This is a research-based review; we have not independently tested Raw Instinct or measured attraction outcomes.
